Build a small tool before a big world

A developer route that produces useful work while GTA VI platform details remain uncertain.

Editorial note

Start with a problem that already exists: a creator needs a timestamp queue, an RP owner needs a clearer onboarding process or a team needs a way to collect and review project briefs. These problems can be tested without assuming a future GTA VI SDK.

Write the input, output and acceptance test for one small tool. Use sample data first. Give AI a narrow task, inspect the changes and test success, failure and permission boundaries. Keep secrets on the server and avoid copying private community information into public examples.

Existing FiveM work can teach Lua, events, client/server boundaries and resource structure. Treat that as current learning on its own platform; do not promise that a FiveM script will run unchanged in GTA VI.

A finished small tool, documented limitation and real user response make a stronger project introduction than an undefined promise to build an entire city. Use the project brief to name the owner, first deliverable, budget and the condition for proceeding.
